Discovery Communications is to premiere the first episode of blue-chip natural history series Life across seven of its channels, in a bid to draw as much attention to the programme as it can.
The two-hour episode will premiere from 20.00 on March 21 across Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, Science Channel, Planet Green and Discovery Health Channel, all of which simulcast in high-definition except the latter.
Thereafter, the 11-part series will air Sundays at 20.00 on the Discovery Channel. The programme is the follow-up to acclaimed natural history series Planet Earth, and was coproduced with the BBC, which has already aired it.
Clark Bunting, president and general manager of Discovery Channel and president of Science Channel, said: “Life embodies Discovery’s 25-year mission to satisfy viewers’ curiosity about the world and its inhabitants. We want to give as many viewers as possible the opportunity to experience Life in its premiere telecast.”
No Brasil a série Vida estréia no dia 18 de março no Discovery Channel.
